This year marks Carroll University’s 175th Anniversary. Carroll was officially chartered by the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature on January 31, 1846—two years before Wisconsin became a state!
We are pleased to announce David Laatsch ’95 will be the keynote speaker at Carroll University’s 175th Founders’ Day Convocation, as we celebrate our heritage of being Wisconsin's first, four-year institution of higher education. David is Vice President, Operations Excellence at Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a member of Carroll's Board of Trustees and the great-grandson of William Arthur Ganfield, who served as president of Carroll from 1922 to 1939.
Our incredible history, rooted in the Presbyterian Church, will be celebrated all year long, and into 2022, through various events, we have planned for our entire Carroll Community to enjoy. This will be the first of many events and surprises planned for this year’s milestone anniversary!
