  • Lou Gehrig Chasin’ a Cure Tailgate & Brewers Game

    I am excited to extend the invite to you, your family, and friends to join Tau Mu for the annual Lou Gehrig Chasin’ a Cure Tailgate & Brewers Game.

    Sunday, June 14, 2026. Brewers take on the Phillies – game time at 1:10 p.m., tailgate begins at 10:10 a.m.

    Don’t worry, Sobelmans Burgers, Jimmy Luv’s Bloody Marys, and Lakefront Brewery will help celebrate the day, along with a few new vendor partners – Tailwinds & Tailwags Coffee, Tots on the Street, and more.

    2026 Awards

    We had a wonderfully fun evening celebrating the BEST of our chapter, and even threw in our annual business meeting.

    Nurse Educator was awarded to Lisa Green, for impacting the profession of nursing through innovative, compassionate excellence in teaching.

    Nurse Leader was awarded to Ebony Swift, for influencing the profession of nursing by serving others with innovative, visionary career development.

    Nursing Practice was awarded to Eva-Marie Nitka, for influencing the profession of nursing by serving others with innovative, visionary career development.

    Nurse Researcher was awarded to Karie Ruekert Kobiske, for impacting nursing through distinguished, sustained, and current integration of knowledge and evidence.
