  • Toy Drive & Volunteer Opportunity

    Toy Drive

    Evelyn Marshall-King (governance committee member), has started a toy collection on campus.  She is hoping to collect 20-30 toys to donate on behalf of our chapter. These toys will be given to children and teens ages 12 months to 17 years during a December 23rd distribution event at Northcott Neighborhood House.

    It's a simple way for us to give back and extend our support beyond campus, especially during a time when so many families are struggling.

    Please drop off a toy by NOON on December 22nd with the Nursing Student worker at South Bergstrom Hall Room 307.

    There's also an opportunity to volunteer at the Christmas Dinner on Thursday, December 25th. If anyone wants to participate in this opportunity to serve, please let Evelyn know by Friday, December 12th. emarshal@carrollu.edu

  • NOMINATE a special Nurse for a TauMu Award

    Nominate a special person for a Tau Mu award using this online NOMINATION FORM for either a Nurse Educator, Nurse Leader, Clinical Practitioner, or Nurse Researcher AWARD. See CRITERIA on the form.

    The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 PM

    Only SIGMA members may nominate someone.  But the nominee does not have to be a member of the chapter or Sigma. Members may not self-nominate; any self-nominations, or nominations from inactive or non-members will be disqualified.
